Dental Implants in Denton, TX
Dental implants are the gold standard for replacing missing teeth — stable, natural-looking, and built to last. From a single tooth to a full arch, we’ll help you rebuild your smile.
What Are Dental Implants?
A dental implant is a small post, usually made of titanium, that is placed in the jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root. Once it has healed and bonded with the bone, it supports a custom-made crown, bridge, or denture. Because implants replace the root as well as the visible tooth, they feel and function much like natural teeth.
Unlike a traditional bridge, an implant doesn’t rely on your neighboring teeth for support. Unlike a removable denture, an implant-supported restoration stays put when you eat and speak.
Implant Options at Berger Dental
- Single-tooth implants to replace one missing tooth
- Multiple-tooth implants and implant-supported bridges
- Implant-supported and full-arch dentures for patients missing most or all of their teeth, or tired of loose dentures
- Bone grafting and site preparation when the jawbone needs extra support before an implant
The right option depends on your health, your goals, and the condition of your jawbone — which we’ll evaluate during your consultation.
Your Implant Journey
- Consultation and exam. We review your health history, examine your mouth, and take X-rays to see whether implants are a good fit.
- A clear treatment plan. You’ll see the recommended steps, the expected timeline, and the cost before you commit to anything.
- Placement and healing. The implant is placed and given time to bond with the bone. Healing time varies from patient to patient.
- Your new tooth. Once healed, a custom crown, bridge, or denture is attached and adjusted for a comfortable, natural bite.
Implant Cost, Insurance & Financing
The cost of dental implants depends on how many teeth you’re replacing, whether bone grafting is needed, and the type of restoration. We believe you should know the full picture up front, so you’ll receive a written estimate after your consultation.
We accept all major PPO plans as an out-of-network provider, file your claims for you, and give you an upfront estimate before treatment begins. Financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit. See our new patient page for details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Many adults with missing teeth are. What matters most is the health of your gums and the amount of supporting bone, and certain health conditions can affect healing. Only an exam and X-rays can answer this for you, which is why we start with a consultation.
How long do dental implants last?
With good daily care and regular checkups, implants are designed to last many years. The crown or bridge attached to the implant may need to be replaced eventually due to normal wear.
Does getting an implant hurt?
The area is numbed during placement, and many patients describe the recovery as manageable. We’ll explain what to expect afterward and how to keep yourself comfortable.
What’s the difference between an implant, a bridge, and a denture?
A bridge uses the teeth on either side of the gap for support, a denture is a removable replacement, and an implant replaces the tooth root itself. We’ll walk you through the pros, cons, and costs of each so you can choose what fits your needs and budget.
Do you offer financing for implants?
Yes. We offer flexible financing through Cherry and CareCredit, and an in-house Smile Savings Plan for patients without insurance. See our new patient page for details.
