Meet Your Denton Dentists

Dr. Shane Berger grew up south of Houston before moving to Dallas in 1994 to attend Texas A&M University System Baylor College of Dentistry. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998.

Having grown fond of the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Dr. Berger decided to make Denton his home and opened his dental practice in September 1998.

For more than 28 years, Dr. Berger has enjoyed building lasting relationships with his patients, many of whom have become like family. He especially values the friendships, laughter, and sense of humor shared with his patients and takes great pride in caring for multiple generations of families.

Outside the office, Dr. Berger enjoys spending time with his two Scottish Terriers, Kody and Finn.

Dr. Hussain was born in New York and moved to Texas at the age of six. A proud Denton County native, he attended Marcus High School before earning his engineering degree from Texas A&M University (Gig ’em!). He later traveled to San Antonio to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist.

Known for his easygoing personality and frequent laughter, Dr. Hussain believes dentistry is about much more than treating teeth, it’s about building relationships. Trust, honesty, and patient satisfaction are at the heart of his approach to care. He takes the time to listen, explain treatment clearly, and make sure every patient feels comfortable and confident in their care.

Family is especially important to Dr. Hussain. Growing up as one of eight siblings taught him the importance of connection, compassion, and looking out for others. Today, he is a proud new father and enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn, traveling, hiking, and making memories with loved ones.

When he’s not in the office, you can usually find him enjoying time with family, exploring somewhere new, or engaging in a lively debate about the latest news and ideas.
