Care for Every Member of Your Family

We welcome patients of all ages. Regular exams and cleanings catch small problems before they become bigger, more expensive ones, and a dentist who knows your history can spot changes over time. Dr. Shane Berger founded the practice in 1998, and today he and Dr. Ali Hussain care for families across Denton and the surrounding area.

Need more than routine care? See our root canal, implant, and cosmetic dentistry pages.

What to Expect at a Checkup

  1. Health history and goals. We review your health history and talk about anything that’s bothering you.
  2. Comprehensive exam. Dr. Berger or Dr. Hussain examines your teeth, gums, and mouth, and takes X-rays when needed.
  3. Cleaning. Plaque and tartar are removed so your teeth and gums can stay healthy between visits.
  4. A clear plan. You leave knowing what, if anything, needs treatment, what it will cost, and what your insurance may cover.

Plan on about 45 minutes to an hour for a first visit.

Insurance, Estimates & Financing

We accept all major PPO plans as an out-of-network provider, file your claims for you, and give you an upfront estimate before treatment begins. Financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit. See our new patient page for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I see the dentist?

Many patients benefit from a checkup and cleaning about every six months, but the right schedule depends on your oral health. Your dentist will recommend what’s best for you.

Do you see children?

Yes — we welcome patients of all ages. Call us to ask about scheduling for your family.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time. Is that okay?

Absolutely. We’ll start with a comprehensive exam, explain what we find in plain language, and help you prioritize treatment at a pace that works for you. If dental visits make you nervous, ask us about sedation options.

Do you treat gum disease?

Yes. We offer periodontal (gum disease) therapy. Bleeding, swollen, or receding gums are worth having checked.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. Call (940) 566-1828 or send a message through our contact page.
